Help!

It seems I just sent myself the Ad shown below. (NOT!).
I viral screen daily, so I assume some worm plucked my address from the
e-directory on the computer of someone else. Is there anything we can
do to protect our E-address from such abuse?

The only difference between this send and my sends are the <> marks
actually showed up on the rogue address in my In-Box. They don't show
up on my authentic sends. And, when I tried reply to sender the marks
disappear and replies are directed to me.

Is it safe to assume that addresses that are bracketed by <> are more
suspect than those that are not?

Also, this seems to be a good time to remind computer users to use Blind
Carbon Copies "BCC" or "(...)".

Thanks for any advice.
Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience and my assurance that I
did not send this piece of junk mail designed to sell medicines.

Best!
