we musn't loose site of the fact that criag is partially correct. he's wrong about cheney and his puppet (clearly my opinion) but he's correct that the dems are no angels either. while i strongly feel that the kid kicking the protester should be thrown in jail (at least for a short period), i feel this way not because he's a republican but because it's just plain wrong! if he were a dem i'd feel the same way. you want proof that the dems are no better, look at our past pres. he did some good things, sure, but he also lied to his wife and our country (under oath) -- i assume, partly for fear of loosing his power. i don't think he should have lost office over this but i do think this represents he is human like the rest of us. you might argue this isn't comparable to the republicans ripping up dem voter registrations but then again he was the pres and if anyone, he should be above this all. he's not, they're not. we're all human. SO get out and do what you can to fight the wrong doers (repub or dem)....and vote out the cheney regime!

What did the Dems in Boston do for the DNC? Set up a protest zone far removed from the convention, its participants, and the news media. The zone was under a highway and corralled by pedestrian unfriendly wire and concrete barriers. Nothing like the right of assembly.
