I was number 15 at one of the polling places at the Fairfax, and I was there by 10 of 7. I usually go between 7:30 and 8 and I don't think I've ever had a number that high; I've certainly never had to wait in line. I was pleased to see that several of the younger people standing in front of me were new voters. Unfortunately, the poll workers seemed completely unprepared for that volume of turnout and there was a lot of confusion about who needed to be in which line for the two separate polling places in the building. By the time I finished, there were probably 50 more people waiting between the two lines. I just hope people were willing to be patient.

Individual opinions on the matter probably are shaped by perceptions of Street and City Council. -- Matthew, who was really impressed with the voter turnout at 47th and Cedar earlier this morning ---- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to the list named "UnivCity."
