I am no fan of Kerry, but the evil and carnage that Bush/Chaney has wrought over the last 4 years makes me willing to vote for ANYONE, so long as it is not W.   As to your assessment that the Dem's control of city politics is a cesspool of vice, patronage, corruption and back scratching, I don't disagree with you.  That's why I voted for Sam the last two mayoral elections.   Jonathan A.
