treaters. Truth be told, a bunch of your listserv friends, including
myself, paid some kids to stop by your house to make you feel
included.

For the first time in the ten years I've been here, -- we had trick-or-treat'ers. I take this to mean that the neighborhood is no longer the Hood (It's just a street with occasional gunshots). We had, I think 75, and ran out of candy. My favorite costume was the kid next door who was (as he told me) "a businessman". Most of the kids stopped and didn't go further north than locust, but I think if I coordinate next year and put up a good front with my neighbors bettween my house and locust, we can do a good job of extending the zone.
