It's an officially homologated historic district (just ask the Haneys, who have to prostrate themselves before the PHC's financial harship committee this very Friday), so the property values have to be sky high and presumably unassailable. A few muggings now and then certainly couldn't overwhelm historic homologation. After all, what's history for?
