Indeed--I've no strong opinion about the changed intersection--I'm an optomist, and tend to expect that it will be better. I really have no objection to Penn's taking over the space that was Baltimore avenue in this way. Yes, several mature trees were lost, but many more than that have already been planted, and I'm certain that the whole space, including what had been the gas station, will be vastly improved in terms of "greenness" from the state before Penn bought it.
