Hi, For those of you following the issue, Governor Rendell is suppose to decide on HB30 tomorrow. You might want to call today if you have an opinion -- this is the Verizon supported state bill that takes away the rights of PA cities (ie Philadelphia) to provide wireless internet access to the city residents. It has already been passed by our illustrious PA legislature and the only hope of blocking this is a veto by Governor Rendell. Even if you are against the Philly wireless plan, it still seems obnoxious that the state (and Verizon) would inhibit any city's to decide for themselves whether or not to provide wireless for their residents. Governor Ed Rendell (717) 787-2500 [EMAIL PROTECTED] Happy calling, Stephen ---- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to the list named "UnivCity."
