At last night's Friends of Clark Park Board Meeting I spoke about a Pancake
Breakfast and Easter Egg Hunt in Clark Park. This is an idea I have been
discussing with people since last spring. Here are some of the details:
Date: Saturday, March 26, 2004
Time: Breakfast 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
Egg Hunt: Children with Disabilities 10:00 am
Children Aged 0 â 4 10:30 am
Children Aged 5 â 9 11:00 am
Location: North Park @ Clark Park
Why: Provide a great community experience for the neighborhood children,
and promote Clark Park.
During the summer meeting the FOCP, the FOCP President endorsed the idea. The
Board gave the go-ahead last night. Since this is a Special Project, we will be
working with the Chair of the Special Projects Committee - Fran Byers.
There are a lot of tasks that need to be done. I need to put together a
steering committee of five to ten people and recruit about forty volunteers to
make this work.
