Sunday December 12th, from noon to 6pm
Food! Live Entertainment! Thirty-odd tables, including one staffed by NBW students and volunteers!
Neighborhood Bike Works be pedaling a selection of refurbished children's bikes, bike part jewelry, calendars, pins, key chains, and other schwagg, as well those wonderful wool hand-made cycling caps you've been seeing on the heads of local cyclists. And that's just at our table.
Come eat, shop and be merry. Support two great local institutions at the same time.

THE ROTUNDA FLEA MARKET-A-THON
Sponored by The Foundation Community Arts Initiative, Vitamin D Productions, and Sherman Community Arts
Sun Dec 12th 12-6pm
The Rotunda Flea Market-A-Thon will occur at The Rotunda and will aim to raise funds for The Rotunda's community-based programming.
Following the stellar event that was last year's Rotunda Flea Market Fundraiser, The Foundation Community Arts Initiative (The Foundation), which is the student and community group that maintains The Rotunda, will host The Rotunda Flea Market-A-Thon! In addition, Sherman Community Arts and Vitamin D Productions, as well as individual community partners, will join The Foundation in planning, promoting, and handling other aspects of the event, exemplifying The Rotunda's presence as an open gathering place for all people.
Due to continued budget cuts, rising expenses, and a larger performance and education roster to maintain, The Foundation needs financial assistance to keep its level of community programming consistent for the 2005 calendar year. For over five years, The Foundation has presented [mostly] free, all-ages events that are open to the public at The Rotunda. These events include concerts showcasing music from the popular to the obscure, film screenings, dance presentations, theater pieces, festivals, art exhibits, workshops, lectures, open meetings, and more. In addition to hosting these public events, The Foundation has facilitated youth programs for registered children, as well as DJ classes for women, rehearsals for local groups, etc. In effect, The Rotunda has become a safe, friendly, bustling gathering place for all types of art and the people who create it.
Performers include:
MC Ramshackle; Master of Ceremonies, The Great Quentini (MCing!) members of the Girls' DJ Collective (spinning a mix of many genres), Men in Fur, (Members of The Snowfairies & Golden Ball) DJ Reflect, Dj Robotrake, Otono Brujo, Joshua Marcus (Like Moving Insects) & Amy Pickard (She-Haw) Reuben Jones (spoken word), Vitamin D picks Presents Amy in Space and Mia Johnson (singer songwriters), Cassendre Xavier (singer songwriter), & more
The Rotunda Flea Market-A-Thon Sunday, December 12, 2004 12pm - 6pm Free admission (donations strongly encouraged) All ages are welcome. At The Rotunda: 4014 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104 (215) 573-3234 http://www.foundationarts.org
