I agree with saving Convention Hall and the Commercial Museum from destruction. I believe a way must be found to reuse the shell of the buildings. As someone who appreciates buildings as historical landmarks, I urge the retention of the Convention Hall and also, Commercial Museum. Surely, these buildings can be reused rather than demolished? Both buildings have gorgeous exteriors that have been Philadelphia landmarks for generations. As a taxpayer, it greatly disturbs me that public funds are being employed for a project in which two historic civic buildings are to be destroyed without examining the various options for adaptive reuse.
