The winter Members' Meeting of Friends of Clark Park will take place this Wednesday, Jan. 19, at 7:30 p.m. It will be held in Griffith Hall, on the USP campus, at 43rd St. & Kingsessing Mall. Everybody is welcome.

Chris Leswing will give a fascinating presentation on the Tree Committee's work to renew the park's beleaguered trees. Last year we planted more trees than ever before! This year will be busy as well.

The year 2005 will see *important new developments* in park plans. People on the Planning Committee will give us a rundown on proposals for a new basketball court, a dog run, a dog-free zone, and a remake of the chess plaza in the "A" (North) Park. We want the community to be involved in this planning, so please show up.
