Dear Neighbors, Yehuda Neal is in the air and on the way home. His story has both a happy ending and a cautionary tale. Yehuda was lured to Arizona via the internet. That he is relatively unscathed feels miraculous. We all need to keep a close eye upon things that can intrude into and unsettle the lives of our children and even ourselves.
Good and creative solutions were offered. One generous neighbor, a frequent volunteer, offered a ticket voucher, that she got when bumped from a flight. USAir confirmed it could be used for this type of purpose, but unfortunately, USAIR does not fly out of Tucson, and we could not find anyone to accompany Yehuda from Tucson to the Phoenix airport. Ultimately, friends of and staff and IHM sisters at St. Francis de Sales, folks who often reach out for help, reached out to help and bought Yehuda's plane ticket. I want to thank everyone for their prayers, ideas, money, and best wishes. A beloved teen is safe and on the way home. Best!
