perhaps he should be more generous to Amtrak, since he uses it. he is a
force (and has been since he got in office) behind wanting to end subsidies for
Amtrak, though he doesn't seem to call for ending subsidies to road builders,
airlines, etc. i guess it's easy to take Amtrak when you have a travel expense
account. should have quizzed him on that.
i was
on the train from h-burg across from DeBardenis (spelling) sec. of DCNR a
few wks ago. he spent the whole trip on his cell phone.
