No Kiddin'!? There are so many news stories that we do not see in the "news media" in the US, either on the left OR the right it is inconceivable.
It is now as it has ever been. As a person of color, I was always curious as to perception of the US in other countries and why the US Government was so despised around the world, but the American people were not always so. People around the world marvel at how 'clueless' Americans are as to how their government functions negatively in their name in places in the world and how badly it affects people in other countries. Add to the mix that the most powerful nation in the world's citizens stumble and bumble about their travels and are unable to communicate even a little bit in other languages. However, while whatever news program one may spot worldwide, people in 'backward places' and other 'developed' nations can at least communicate in rudimentary English, if not fluently. Ethnic and/or racial cleansing in Europe; not surprising at all. In fact, colonialism from the self-same continent has spread to the colonized as well and escalated traditional tribal, national conflicts etc. As always, I enjoy your posts because I respect your assertions, even though I may not always agree.
