Yes, my family volunteered on Christmas eve.   It seems to be totally volunteer run these days with "regulars"   that have been there for no exaggeration, decades (we are not regulars, but it's a thought.)   Many college students from our area also volunteer, but during the semester break they get low on volunteers.  High school students can offer their time as well to fulfill  "community service hours"   As my son is in high school, they found his volunteer hours particularly helpful during the time when the college students went home.  I suspect they could use help during the summer as well.  I noticed they usually have a social service person there to assist with referrals.  I also noticed that one evening, a "regular" volunteer brought winter clothing and it was just about all taken.  This might be an alternative to Second Mile when they are "full."   (Though the clothes should be seasonal)

Hopefully, the group is still servicing the neighborhood, though no one appears to be keeping their web site up to date.
