Tickets are $15 anyway...

Although TLA's website has them listed for May 25th, rather than March
25th...

As part of my trust fund largesse, I am inviting all of you - and my
students! -
to come see the Upright Citizens Brigade Touring Group at the TLA on
Friday,
March 25, at 9pm, for the low-low-low price of $15 (or $16 if you
purchase the
day of the show). Just tell TLA that "Susan, the Trust Fund Baby," sent
you, and
you will get this fabulously cheap admission price. Better yet, if you
let me know
ahead of time how many of you are going to take advantage of this
fantastic
offer, the folks at the UCB will stay a while afterwards and talk about
long-form
improvisational comedy.

In case you have not heard of the Upright Citizens Brigade (http://
uprightcitizens.org), it was the original long-forrm improvisational
comedy
theather in Manhattan, started by Amy Poehler, Matt Besser, Ian Roberts
and
Matt Walsh. Many writers and performers from Saturday Night Live came
out of
the UCB (Amy Poehler,Tina Fey, Rachel Dratch, Horatio Sanz and Rob
Riggle), as
well as writers and occasional performers on The David Letterman Show,
Conan
O'Brien, Jimmy Kimmel and other talk/comedy shows.

I am so happy to use the largesse of my trust fund to help spread the
wealth of
comedy!
