Title: RE: [UC] Dog Poo in Recycling Buckets

Lucky you -- someone swiped one of my recycling buckets yesterday. They left the blue plastic one, but swiped the heavy wire mesh one. Exploding trash-cans aren't enough, I need an armed guard.

Subject: [UC] Dog Poo in Recycling Buckets

I noticed, when I brought our still full recycling bucket, back from the street that it contained several small bags of dog poo.  I also noticed that my neighbors' recycling buckets also contained similar bags.  I find this bizarre because these bags were obviously placed there by a dog owner who cared enough to pick up after their dog.  After taking the trouble to be a good citizen and picking the poo up, why would they then place the bag in a recycling bucket -- knowing full well that a recycling bucket is not a proper poo receptacle?  Does anybody have any insights into the psychology behind this action?
