On Friday night from 5-6, the Chester Avenue Dog Park will unveil our great new Outdoor Light which will now permit nice early evening visits to the park in the wintertime. All the funds for this project were provided by the Dog Park members themselves, plus we have benefitted from the wonderful support of Park Pleasant Nursing Home, which owns the park and helped run the electrical line. Come enjoy the lighting ceremony plus there will be some warm spiked and regular apple cider. Because of the insurance regulations governing the park, all people are welcome, but only dogs who are already members may attend. Also, any person attending should be prepared for having a dog come up and lick you and even jump up on you, so formal attire is definitely NOT recommended.
