Robin,
We bought one for out After School activitiy room. It works great. It picks up most if not all of the broadcast HD channels and gives the HD quality that the TV can produce. I don't know how it will work on a non-HDTV. We just got ours for about 50 bucks at the Radio Shack.

Hi, I hope to get rid of cable. I am thinking of buying an indoor HDTV antenna. I don't have a HDTV and I am not planning on buying one until my ten year old TV dies. I heard you can use the HD antenna and get clear reception even on analogue TV. Anybody know my best options? Has anyone used the newer indoor antennas in our area? I have gone to the antennaweb site and I found my orientation and antenna type.

Thanks,

Robin
