If you honestly think that I was seriously proposing that we ought to be
mobilizing to move West Philly High out of the neighborhood because it's
a crime magnet, well, I don't know that marking my sarcasm is really the
best solution to our disconnect.

May I suggest you mark your sarcasm as [sarcasm:], because tone of voice
doesn't transmit well in email?

More wisdom from the guy who proposed that the neighborhood public high
school be moved out of the neighborhood!

No matter what it is that they're shoveling.

That's a good idea. Because there's an aphorism to the effect that when
you're digging yourself deeper and deeper into a hole (as you surely
have been), the first thing to do is drop the shovel.

Is it beyond you to admit that you spoke out of turn? Or, maybe your
unnatural apparent dislike of me only makes it impossible for you to
admit you're wrong when I point out your logical inconsistencies?

Forget the liquor store, forget the homeless shelter -- why aren't we
agitating to get this crime-magnet out of our neighborhood?

Speaking of:

Did something else happen at WPHS today? I drove by around 11:30, and
there were about 8 cop cars on the 48th St. side--also helicopters
overhead. There was a large crowd standing outside--also it looked like
the students had been "let out" for the day???

Correction:

The West Auditorium, where the press conference is scheduled (8:30

than Walnut.
