You may have read about a problem with some pet food that's caused serious medical problems to dogs and cats. Only a few companies make this stuff, but it's marketed under a lot of different brand names. "White Rose," which is the house brand at Supreme, is among those on the list. Several brands sold at Wal Mart are also. The list of brands that are being recalled is online at http://www.menufoods.com/recall/ This doesn't mean that if you've fed any of the brands to your pet, it's been exposed to whatever the problem ingredient is (they suspect it's the wheat gluten). But if you have some on hand, well, you might not want to risk using it and I didn't read the recall details but you can probably take it back for a refund or exchange.
