Craig, you old goat, You know better than most that nobody on this list has any responsibility for analyzing PLCB's marketing moves. The agency's employees alone will do it because it is their job to do so. It's not your job or my job or Melanie's job. And I definitely recommend retail store management not become Ray's job; stick with what you know, pal! If PLCB signs a 25-year lease somewhere, it's entirely on that band of civil servants to figure it out.
Quality writing put to the service of stupid and dishonest ideas is often fun, but always wrong. Publishing silly statements wittily does not make them less silly. Actually, Craig, I am at times a propagandist for Republicans as well as Democrats. And I cover politicians who are not corrupt, even a few who are too powerless to become corrupt. They're all news. -- Tony West see Sandi, you are a dissing person, too. It is apparent to many of us, Beam does an excellent job of crafting effective arguments. Finesse is an awful opponent to the lazy and/or mediocre executors of spoken and written English; which is my opinion why people on this listserv complain about Beam's quality products. That does not necessarily mean anyone is bad, just that each contributes with a different English skill-set. Of greater concern is how better to potentate this listserv as an engine for more democratic beneficial community development. Apparently, the listserv membership is yet interested in gathering verifiable facts about the two properties and knowledgeably analyzing the projects as real estate development opportunities. And, are these the only two viable locations for siting an LCB store within a one mile radius of 4049 Market Street for what may be a 20 to 25 year period, which is typical when the option terms of such leasehold estates are exercised? Now that SpecialK has let the cat out of the bag that Tony is a documentarian and at times propagandist for local liberal thinkers, read corrupt Democrats, and trumpets their good works (T, tell Jimmy I still respect his work product), shall we re-exam Tony's metaphors for the temperature tolerance of coloreds? HA!
