This is why I hold each and every one of you in abject contempt.

DUUUUDE. HARSH! Also, is "abject" the adjective you want? A quick google
search shows about 43000 hits for "abject horror" and only 236 for "abject
contempt." Also, a quick look at Merriam-Webster's online dictionary
demonstrates that you may be amiss here:

*1* *:* sunk to or existing in a low state or condition <to lowest pitch of
*abject* fortune thou art fallen -- John Milton>
*2 a* *:* cast down in spirit *:
SERVILE<http://www.m-w.com/dictionary/servile>,
SPIRITLESS <http://www.m-w.com/dictionary/spiritless>* <a man made
*abject*by suffering>
*b* *:* showing hopelessness or resignation <*abject* surrender>
*3* *:* expressing or offered in a humble and often ingratiating spirit <*
abject* flattery> <an *abject* apology>

How about "deep, utter, total, unmitigated, withering, etc contempt"? Any of
these adjectives might better convey what you feel. OTOH, don't wanna put
words in your mouth.
