For masonry, long time, 2nd generation mason and local guy Walter Walden
can do it all.
        215-476-4023
Best to call at dinner time (7-8 PM)

The mason who did brick cleaning and pointing at 600 S. 48th Street (the
corner of 48th and Cedar) was
        Gene Rose of
        Rose Restoration
        215-969-4525 (Voice)
        215-969-7840 (Fax)
        267-246-2955 (Cell)
I was happy with him.
The work was done almost 5 years ago, and I remain delighted with the
look and price.
I do not offer any warranty.
Drive by and judge the work for yourself.
If you call him, please let him know I made the referral.
I don't accept "kickbacks" but I can always use the good will of a good
contractor.
Gene is able to do aesthetic and architecturally accurate repairs,
reproductions and even new work that matches by theme or color.

For Sidewalks, Stairs, Ramps, New Openings and Basement parging, I like
to use
      Conor Kelly
      215-722-1574
Conor's crew did the:
Basement opening and ramp at 600 S. 48th.
Front Steps at St. Francis de Sales (47th at Windsor)
West Sidewalk (Farragut St. side) of 4611 Springfield.
These are all things you can drive by.

On a separate matter, I've had several recent requests for attorneys.
A local attorney who would be happy to give good prices to neighbors
willing to hop the Trolley to his Broad Street office is
        James Moran
        [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Jim specializes in Debt (collections, bankruptcy protection), Real Estate
and Contracts.
He is sharp, precise and assertive.

All the best!
Liz
