Speaking of the old video store at 46th and Cedar, that place must be
haunted. How many years has it been vacant?

This spring Alan Massey did a thesis project on it, but I never heard any
results:

About 46th and Baltimore

This group is intended to be a collection of photos of the area around 46th
and Baltimore Ave. in West Philadelphia.

I am thesis student at Temple University's Architecture Program. The site
for my thesis project is the old West Coast Video on the corner of 46th and
Baltimore Avenue.

I want to see how other people view the site, and by the site I don't mean
just the existing building, but the area surrounding it. As time goes on
I'll provide more information on the topic I'm working with, but I want to
first see what comes in without knowledge of what I'm working on.

Thanks for your photos!

The latest advice I've gotten offlist is to open a combination sperm bank,
fern bar, and cheese emporium but I don't think there's enough space in the
4800 Baltimore store front. Maybe a sperm ATM and fern bar, but not much
else.

I think you should open the shop at the empty storefront on the 4600 block
on Baltimore, or at the old video store at 46th and Cedar. More foot
traffic.
