I thought something about this "literature drop" didn't pass the smell test.

I have done plenty of lit drops at RC churches, in particular, in past
elections. Something in this article didn't ring true.

1) You don't do isolated drops at the polar/cultural ends of the city,
rather you target multiple churches in wards with very specific demographics.

2) One of my kids used to attend St Katherine of Siena, and I believe such
an argument would fall on deaf ears there. It was my recollection the RCs
around there may love the Holy Father(s), but forsake some of their less
popular
teachings, so the RC's strict devotion to utter obedience to the Church is
questionable.

3) What is most disconcerting is Ben Hayllar, Rendell lacky and Nutter
supporter, just happened to be available to speak for offended RC's. Rendell
is
not supporting Knox. Why do you think he lent Kate Phillips to Brady's
campaign?

4) In Society Hill how convenient Judy Hartl a parishioner at a nearby ultra
liberal Episcopal church (and probable Nutter supporter), just happened to
be available to speak on behalf of aggrieved RCs at St Mary's.

I'd say this is a classic Demo dirty trick meant to make outsiders Team Knox
look like asses.

What a shame the local members of our Democrat(ic) Party can't run a civil
campaign in their efforts to represent the best interests of the People.

And, always be suspicious of newspapers in Philly. How did the Inky
reporters just happen to get statements from two most unusual man and woman on
the
street?

Maybe Sali has a point, but has been less than eloquent in trying to point
out apparent reportorial biases.

Vote on People,

Craig
