It's like reading something by a master surrealist, only without any of
the genius.

Glenn, please read your posts and ask yourself: why would any civilized
person feel the need to reply to me, or interact with me in any way,
when I write about him/her using this language?

Melani Lamond

Dear Melani,

I think I reply to you and probably others do, because we like you.

Recently, law school experts discussed the problems with the
understanding of ethical issues among law school students. Other
"experts" have discussed the alarming illiteracy about basic
understanding of concepts among the general public concerning history,
democratic values, and discussions in what was once called the liberal
arts. In both instances, they appeared to be concerned about ithe impact
this illiteracy has upon representative democracy and the values
supposedly enshrined in the American myth.

Now Melani, I'd like you to understand ithat f you're a pawn in a
struggle you don't understand, my affection for you as a long term
neighbor will not be considered when I make you a target in whatever
sartiracal style of writing I use.

Please don't try the same stuff the Friends of Clark Park attempted when
I gave them a much nicer warning.

Cheers, your neighbor,

Glenny, glenn

.

Sadly, I think that Glenn has already abandoned his pledges to reform
the way he writes on the list.
