Happy Harry Potter Day to those who like him and the movies. Scare monger is a mean term to describe you Al, and I apologize for using it. But it seems that anytime I want to engage in a civil discussion with you (or with the list) you must chime in to discourage chat about it, because it's "DEAD". Right? You made an excellent point with Elvis. He's dead (as far as we know and I believe) and yet people still talk about him. So why can't I talk about a dead topic, and really ask what the community wants? Why can't we have a "Improvement Organization" where the $ is based on non-profit status, and we don't use any of the other organizations (non profit or otherwise)? Ok, so some people don't like the UCD, Penn, FoCP, or some other organization (or individual people). Is there a reason why you don't want the neighborhood improved with better lighting, cleaner streets and sidewalks, or better safety/security?
