I'm sure you all have reason to travel this stretch of Ludlow quite
frequently, so you all might just want to file this info in your
un-frequently used file...
REMINDER: LUDLOW ST. Changes direction THIS WEEKEND
Beginning on or about July 27, and lasting until late 2008 or early
2009, the traffic direction on Ludlow Street between 36th and 38th
Streets will be reversed. After that time you will need to enter
Ludlow from 38th Street. Please note that 38th Street is a divided
highway, so that you will need to be in the Northbound lanes to be
able to turn right onto Ludlow.
This temporary reversal is being implemented to accommodate
construction of a ten story addition to the National Board
of Medical Examiners building at 38th and Ludlow. Since the
construction fence has been erected, exiting on to 38th Street has
been extra difficult, particularly during rush hour.
