Thank you for the clarification. However, a listserv under the sponsorship of the Univ. of Penn designed to filter and moderate those of us who may be in disagreement with shall we say, ³The Prevailing Westerly Winds², is disturbing to me.
Especially so in a which neighborhood prides itself on being a diverse environment. To filter or censor people because their views may not be the same as mine or yours, (read diverse), is the antithesis to true diversity and more like a ³gated community² where we can keep out shall we say, ³the undesirable element²? I understand there are many such communities in our country, but I never would have believed in this area people would set up a virtual type of gated-community against their own neighbors. Boasting about being to pre-censor people or flag them using keywords does not make me feel any better either. Thanks for writing.
