Of course, you don't actually have to know any of this. The fact is that any
idiot can set up and run a listserv, a blog, or a website (as evidenced by
all the listservs, blogs, and websites set up and run by idiots, grade-school
kids, photographers, and rental housing providers).

There are many "hosts" from which to choose -- some free (occasionally with
the imposition of ads), others at a relatively nominal cost.

To give you the benefit of the searching and researching I've done over the
past few years -- if you want to start -- go to the following host-vendor
sites (there are alternatives that may be better, but these are the ones I've
used and I'm happy with them).

For blogs: _www.blogger.com_ (http://www.blogger.com)

For listservs: _www.googlegroups.com_ (http://www.googlegroups.com)

For websites (including the selection of a domain name): _www.ipowerweb.com_
(http://www.ipowerweb.com)
