Dear list,
When you consider Joey's, "Get a life, Glenn," I included statements below
by John Sexton, which are specifically relevant to understanding Joey's
posts and the "cocoon" that the censored Penn list forms. I've realized
that in the interest of general list civility; it is sometimes better to
expose and analyze these posts, but not respond to the individual.
Of course, Joey's attacks on my bad motives, bad character, and bad life are
not supported by him bringing any conflicting report or evidence that
suggests my exposure of the terrible crime report was false. This is a
classic ad hominem argument which also pathetically demands the right for
his gang mates to lie.
Joey is displaying the gang loyalty which develops within insular groups
like Penn's Barfing and Barking Cheesehead list to which he belongs. His
position on exposing serious lies is, of course, ridiculous. He is
demanding the right for his leaders to abuse power without any rules by
using these attacks pathetically intended to bully and silence.
His fallacious attack doesn't prove any of his positions but it indicates
the gang ideology Before the censorship advocates started "laying low," we
saw the barking cheeseheads regularly, in coordinated attacks, use these
types of strategies and assert their right to no standards of conduct within
the community. I was by no means the only victim as has been recorded on
this open list.
Any interference by OUTSIDERS to the gang is dealt with ruthlessly. Joey's
defense of the right for gang leaders to lie is not only ridiculous but is
an excellent example of where incivility BEGINS.. Consider Sexton:
"By contrast, marshaling a case to persuade those who start
from a different position is a lost art. Honoring what's
right in the other side's argument seems a superfluous thing
that can only cause trouble, like an appendix. Politicos
huddle with like-minded souls in opinion cocoons that seem

This civil e-mail came to me from one of the civil posters at barking
cheese. Odd thing, I dont think this barking cheesehead communicated
directly with me before.
I'm being "childish" for exposing this terrible lie and bringing relief
to anyone who believed it? The cheeshead could not possibly be such a
poor reader, could he? If he has any evidnce that a car jacking happened
at West's, why doesn't cheesehead post it instead of barfing at me and
continuing to bark on this list? I checked and his stories are so civil
with his gang at what is really more like Craig suggested, barfing
cheese. Why do they continue to keep barking at the uncensored open list
folks?
