On October 30, 2007, between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 11:00
p.m., Drexel University will host a Democratic Presidential
Debate at 3141 Chestnut Street. As a result of this event,
Chestnut Street will be closed to vehicular traffic between 30th
and 33rd Streets during the hours of 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday,
October 30, 2007, and 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2007.
While the closure of Chestnut Street will create traffic
congestion, traffic conditions immediately prior to and after the
debate will be especially heavy.
If possible, please plan to use an alternate route or public
transportation on the aforementioned dates/times.
