Two poems inspired by the list and offered for your enjoyment and consideration:
Is civil discourse in our midst? Beyond the angry frightened fits? Where will winds of our words blow? Censored tongues? The path we go? With all our souls lost in mass pits. The world waits breathless for to see, The choice we choose for them and we! Silent tongues and hearts of stones Fallacious tricks with sweetest tones. Or could our hearts those words set free? With strength those thoughts to let us be, And shout those songs that set us free! (Dedicated to Kathy Change and Bob Marley in what I'm currently calling, The Songs of Freedom series) And this poem is dedicated to censorship and the global destruction of freedom and democracy: UC Neighbors too. The Civility Cheer! Civility this, civility that, You're not allowed To think You rat! Shut up now, shut up again, You're not allowed A voice Or a pen! We're full of fear, we're full of hate, We'll hit you hard If you lie down And wait! We are the lords, we make the laws, We've got the power And you've got The paws! Civility this, civility that, You're not permitted Your lives That's that! Glenn of the uncensored list
