People don't trust community-group volunteers to handle complex issues

Neither do people trust self-anointed spokespersons on unmoderated
listserves to handle complex issues perfectly.
My advice to everyone: avoid grandiose, evil-tongued posturing in serious
community debates. It's almost always wrong. Leave room for both sides in
such a dispute to be well-meaning and reasonable. It doesn't always work
out that way, but it is true more often than it is false.
My thought, Glenn, is that you should enter the upcoming meeting with an
open mind and a generous heart. This is always the best way to deal with
your University City neighbors. Speak well of your neighbors first.

I was a little confused by Barry’s response on the topic of deliberations
and vote of the zoning committee. I'm wondering what you folks think.
...
Does anyone know how and when SHCA zoning conducts this deliberation
process and vote? Should I ask Barry? Thoughts?
