I am passing this on from an anonymous citizen...

If you read Naomi Wolf's book, The End of America., you will know the spot
detentions and home seizure, like the Francisville 4, is always part of the
pattern just before the totalitarian shift. Early detentions are done quite
openly without torture. The silence of the masses is studied.

The door is opened for the next wave. Journalists, religious leaders, artists,
teachers, and all remaining union leaders/ activists are added to the list of
targets for detention. Much of the goal is to continue to send terror to the
masses while escalating the silencing tactics on direct targets. Thugs and gang
leaders are developed/recruited to serve as front line informants so enemies of
the civic associations are rounded up too. The propaganda simultaneously
terrifies the masses by insisting that the victims are actually the enemies of
society, law, and order.

Did you notice that an anonymous complaint from a good neighbor is being
claimed by the blue shirts in Francisville?

After World War 2, some nazis were asked why they didn't revolt in the early
stages when these "spot detentions" were being used openly. As I recall the
report, the respondents said it was easy to look away because the victims were
people on the fringe. There was a naïve hope that these tactics would not be
extended to the middle classes, so long as they behave and keep silent.
(Torture then becomes acceptable for the early targets: activists, disempowered
socio-economic classes, and "criminals.")

The pressure to shut-up is building all around us, as the list of victims
mounts. I think that the arrogance of the blue shirts and L & I in
Francisville, and their delight with the "kidnapping" indicates that the next
wave is beginning.

As Ms. Wolf notes, the full transformation to totalitarianism happens quite
rapidly.
