This "Hip Hop" take on 'Dance' is fascinating. It makes me realize I have a very 2D understanding of dance. These kids are so young, I wonder if they are reinventing the wheel, or if they have researched movements as diverse as water ballet, space walking, and kindergarten play time. One crew included some elements of Ballet this week, and I suspected the bawdiness was closer to Victorian times than the sanitized magnificence we can see at the Kimmel Center.
