I found out during the recent rains that my back shed had developed a nasty leak. Richard Marks fixed the roof for me, and today I tore out the damp and moldy drywall ceiling and the more damp and moldy insulation above it. I now have a decent-sized opening in my shed ceiling.
Question for all you home-repair packrats out there: does anyone have any leftover drywall or pink insulation hanging out in the basement or the attic that they're not going to use? We could get carshare and go over to Home Depot, but since this is such a small area (3' x 6'), I was hoping that I could help a neighbor get rid of something that was too good to throw away but that you're not using. I never get rid of anything useful after I'm done a project, but of course I've managed not to have anything that I need on hand before I ripped out the ceiling. Please email me off-list or call (215) 870-8356. Thanks! karen
