I don't think that doing a story will "get these guys off the streets."
More likely, you'll sensationalize it to get people to watch tv.
I disagree.
A TV news story would raise awareness of the burglary problem in
University City. As a result, our neighbors are more likely to notice
suspicious behavior and report it to the authorities. It also would place
pressure on the police to increase patrols.
How is any of this a bad thing?
