Dear Friend,
Election Day is less than two weeks away and the stakes could not be higher. In
these difficult times for Philadelphia and for our country, we need a president
who understands us, inspires us, and is ready to lead us to a brighter future.
Barack Obama is the partner we need in the White House.
The Obama campaign has registered more than 175,000 new voters in Pennsylvania
this fall. That is great news, but now we need your help to make sure these new
voters get to the polls on Tuesday, November 4th and cast their ballots for
Senator Obama.

The polls may look good now, but we know that the only polls that count are
those that are open on Election Day. That's why we all must work as hard as
possible to ensure an Obama victory on November 4th.
The get out the vote effort will run from Saturday, Nov. 1st through Tuesday,
Nov. 4th. Volunteer shifts are only 3 hours long, so please sign up for as many
as you can. Also, please sign up by this Friday so the Obama campaign
leadership can include you when developing their volunteer deployment strategy.
This is your last chance to be an important part of this historic campaign!

Please forward this email to your friends, relatives and neighbors and ask them
to volunteer to help get out the vote. The voter turnout in Philadelphia could
very well determine who wins Pennsylvania. That's why we need all hands on deck
to put Senator Obama over the top on Election Day!
As always, thank you for your support and hard work.
Sincerely,
Michael NutterMayor of Philadelphia
