Neighbors,

The health insurance crisis is an extremely important issue to most of us.
It's not just a neighborhood issue, and this summer will decide if half the US
population will need to continue to live in fear of the real American health
care choice: bankruptcy or death.

Here is a link to an interview with a whistle blower from the health insurance
industry. It's rather long but a very important confirmation of what many
"socialists" have been asserting. (Democracy Now is one of the few remaining
investigative news organizations in the U.S. You can also watch the interview
through their web site. This link goes directly to the transcript.)

Opinion: Many deaths caused by American health insurance profiteering are
mistakenly counted as compliance related deaths. Many people refuse or avoid
simple cost-effective health procedures such as screening for colon cancer
because they fear hidden medical bills and not because they are stubborn. Even
with insurance, self-employed people with "the best plans" often find
themselves doing battle, after the fact, when they receive the bills 6 months
later. This constant attempt to deny coverage is a deterrent to keep
individuals terrified of following routine medical health maintenance.

PS: Eat plenty of whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables. That is the only
health insurance you can count upon!
