[UC] recycling acceptables

Can I ask that one of our resident recycling experts list what is  
acceptable in our weekly re-cycling bins? Pizza boxes? milk cartons?   
plastic bags? styrofoam? glass?

I ask this b/c I saw a sign on a private recycling dumpster that  
listed what could be put in, and it made me wonder if I have been  
including "prohibited" items in our curbside recycling. (what happens  
then, anyway?)
