Pharma and biotech lie about needing outrageous profits for "research and 
development"  Taxpayers pay for most quality research through public funds and 
the work is performed by "junior researchers".  The corporations then take the 
profits.  They spend their money on bribes, marketing, etc.

The universities are used to funnel public money through the university, and 
these "arrangements" see that the profits go to the corporations.  This is the 
same model as government staffers working as lobbyists.

The people of occupied West Philly know it is too late to separate university 
leaders from corporations.
