Neighbors,

On this link to firedoglake, you will find an important report on the use of
censorship to silence true progressives and new ideas. People keep asking,
where is the progressive grassroots movement? Answer: it is being infiltrated
and either redirected or sabotaged before it gets started.

I touched on this before, and briefly reported my experience at the local,
Coalition to Save the Libraries. Grassroots movements are being actively
infiltrated by professional activists. They are using the same bag of ruthless
tricks as our civic associations, which we've widely discussed, and that I've
documented on this public list. They seek to "shepherd" progressive movements,
and then, sabotage them at the most critical junctures. (I saw an anti-war
activist describe the same pattern and correctly use the term shepherd.)

My friends, who were kicked out of the Coalition To save libraries, met and
discussed this pattern. Grassroots movements are being infiltrated and
destroyed before they get started. All genuine progressives and honest people
working for social and planetary justice must watch out for these patterns!!
Here in Philadelphia you can count on infiltration.
Also, please don't allow a group called, Train For Change, to be involved in
any grassroots movement or organization. These were the professional,
grasstop, activists that took over the Coalition To Save the Libraries and
Coalition For Essential Services, here in Philadelphia! This is a huge and
apparently ubiquitous problem!

Note about the responses: The responder, Jason, works for that sham health
care outfit that supports the democrats agenda. See how he was confronted for
a false ad hominem. He also was the one to dismiss the censorship report, and
immediately offered "list-moderation" with the ad hominem attack. See how the
tactic is the same as we see in the UCD???
