I believe that de Sales also provides scholarships to underprivileged children in the surrounding community. Many of their grads go on to West Catholic and some receive financial assistance there as well. Saving kids from the streets and building Philadelphia's future leaders (think Seth Williams & Michael Nutter, to name just two products of Philadelphia's Catholic school system).
