There is a 20 month old toddler just admitted to CHOP who has been diagnosed
this week with APML type of leukemia and needs that rare blood type because
his platelets are really low. He is getting O type today, but he really
needs the AB Negative and the Philly Red Cross blood bank has none at the
moment. If you know anyone who might be able to help, could they contact
the Philly Red Cross blood bank to arrange for blood donation so the blood
bank can make it available to CHOP?
