For those who feel inspired to keep Christmas trees out of the City's
landfills, and are willing to donate $5 for expenses, here's a reminder
that today's the day to recycle your tree!
UC Green's Sue Pringle is at the corner of 43rd & Chester with the tree
chipper crew till 4.
No transportation? No problem; dried-out trees are pretty easy to
drag! I brought mine over that way, and then went back & dragged over
another that I'd noticed curbside, along my way.
Thanks to Sue for arranging this and being out there in the cold! When
I was there at about noon, they'd already had about 125 trees, and lots
more came along while I watched. Someone even brought a cute little 2'
table top tree!
