Subject: [PFSNI] neighborhood memo
I regret having to send the following memos:
On Monday night (2/21) our car was vandalized...a window broken out
on our car...because, in the evening, we usually can't find a place
to park near our house on Larchwood Ave.....so our car was parked
around on 46th St near Hazel that night. Nothing was taken that we
noticed.
On Thursday evening about 9:30 pm February 24, a woman carrying a
pizza box and handbag was confronted by two men one with a gun and
the other wearing a ski mask on Larchwood Avenue before 46th
Street. She was told to kneel. They took her pocket book and ran.
She had keys and cell phone in her coat pocket (which they did not
take). She called the police who responded immediately. The police
recovered her bag about 1 1/2 blocks away. Money had been taken from
wallet. But all other items were intact. It happened so fast. Be
mindful when walking alone anytime but especially at night.
