Here is a short account of Susan Lindauer's hell under the Patriot Act.
Because she was a patriot, she tried to stop the illegal Iraq war from
inside the government.
She thinks most Americans are kept from the truth about the use of the
Patriot and Espionage Acts. She is correct. But anyone who has watched
a community destroyed by gentrification knows that most powerful
Americans don't believe in the 1st amendment and welcome the destruction
or assassination of whistleblowers and truth tellers.
We are well passed 1984!
